Ongeveer een kwart van de kinderen in Nederland begint aan het basisonderwijs met een taalachterstand die nadelig is voor hun latere leesvaardigheid. Een achterstand die te verkleinen is door hun taalvaardigheid en ‘beginnende geletterdheid’ vroeg te stimuleren.
